The San Carlos City Private Schools Association (SCCPSA) Sports Fest made a huge comeback last February 1 to 3, 2023. Colegio de Sto. Tomas-Recoletos Quadrangle and the St. Ezekiel Moreno Covered Court were the main venues for majority of the events including basketball, volleyball and the opening and closing ceremonies.

Colegio de Sta. Rita, headed by Sr. Rosalie M. Ubo, AR, hosted the sports festival.

The Torch Bearers 2023: Herman Illusorio II (CST-R, Top 8 Semi-Finalist of the Lawn Tennis Juniors Championship Philippines); Nathaniel P. Omaque (OLPMSI, Boxing, Negros Occidental Provincial Meet); Elijah Raj Pabalate (TC, 1st Runner-Up, Palarong Pambansa); John de Marco Cutamora (Daisy’s ABC, Asiana Cup 2022, Jakarta, Indonesia); Jhon Lloyd Liguaton (CSR, National Championship PFF U15)

The Silent Sport. Golden Eagle Chess player Vishnu Nanalabe patiently waits for a single opportunity to finish the board game and win the gold.
The Swimmers. In high spirits, the members of the Golden Eagles Swimming Team compete against each other at the San Carlos City People’s Park Infinity Pool.
Football Spirit. The Golden Eagles Boys Football bows out to Tañon College Football team in a thrilling 2-0 outing at the SJRI Standard Pitch.
Heart of a Champion. Rev. Fr. Joel Dequilla, OAR, the CST-R VP for Finance & Administration, delivers a homily on values that create champions during the Thanksgiving Mass for the SCCPSA Sports Fest at the City Auditorium, February 1, 2023.
The Sentinel. Mrs. Cynthia Sanchez, administrator of Tañon College, leads the Maroon Stags during their 2023 SCCPSA sporting campaign. She is accompanied by faculty and staff during the Thanksgiving Mass.
