Pioneering BS Entrepreneurship college students of Colegio de Sto. Tomas-Recoletos organized their first Entrepreneurship Day last February 8, 2023 with a theme: “The Importance of Entrepreneurship in the Post-Pandemic World”.

Grouped into three, entrepreneurship students show their ability and skills in solving business problems in the easy and difficult rounds during the Brainstorming Session.

The invited Accountancy and Business Administration (ABM) students played Pinoy Henyo that measured their business, management and finance vocabulary while they also had fun.

The three entrepreneurship student groups created their brands namely the Tomas Bites, Friend-Chip Nachos, and Glorious Treasures. They presented their Marketing Strategy Plan during the Business Innovation Presentation with panelists Kathrina Soccoro Marquez, Philip Neil Delubio, and Jan Mari Cupang. The panelists gave their insights and comments on how the brand and the marketing plans could be improved. ABM students and College Department staff served as audience.

Cupang, an alumnus and former CST-R teacher, shared his knowledge and experiences as a young entrepreneur during a lecture entitled “Servant Leadership: A Must in Business.” He inspired the BS Entrepreneurship and ABM students to venture into business, as he also emphasized that entrepreneurs are leaders.
