June 10, 2021–Despite having a skeletal workforce this school break, Colegio de Sto. Tomas-Recoletos participated in the National Earthquake Drill 2021. Office staff led by Mr. Isaias Dela Paz, Safety & Security Officer, practiced Duck, Cover and Hold as the electronic bell rang to signify an earthquake.

The members of Recoletos Educational Assistance for Deserving Students (READS) of CST-R also participated as they continue to serve in the non-teaching offices where they are assigned.

In less than two minutes, Thomasian staff were able to evacuate to the open Golden Eagles field for the headcount.
