Grade 10 Thomasian Aaron Lim won first place at the 85th National Book Month Poem Writing Competition held at the San Carlos City Library. Lim was awarded for his witty piece at the CST-R Quadrangle last November 29, 2019.

Samantha Everuth also won first place for the One-shot Short Story Competition. Daniella Purisma won second and third placer was Kharyll Marqueda.

John Gemar Entapa and Jonnel Singson also won second and third place, respectively, for the Poem Writing Competition.

Meanwhile, despite the rainy weather, the CST-R Book Lovers Club still delivered a crowd-drawing program. Their radio drama brought excitement on the stage, weaving different fictional characters together in one funny story.

Students also played charades in which, despite always slipping on the stage, the Grade 9 proudly took the first place prize.
