September 21, 2026—The annual Research Office Statistician’s Encounter featured Dr. Alfredo Alave of the Carlos Hilado Memorial State University, Bacolod City (CHMSU).

On his second time in Colegio de Sto. Tomas-Recoletos, Inc. Cultural Center, Dr. Alave focused on discussing the conceptual framework, practical examples and applications of statistical tools, such as T test, ANOVA, Standard Deviation. He also guided Grade 12 students in developing a self-made questionnaire that includes the selection and use of appropriate measurement scales.

This yearly activity of the Research Office aims to help Grade 12 students, research teachers and advisers with recent updates and approaches in Statistics.
