Last September 6, 2024, the Thomasians of the College Department joined The Acquaintance Party 2024 that began with the different segments of the Laro ng Lahi at the St. Ezekiel Moreno Covered Court. Mario Went to Town, Sack Race and Tug of War were among the games. The boys played the classic college favorite, basketball with the first, second and third year Thomasians going against each other. The Pioneers, third year students, won.
In the middle of the fun and laughter, the Thomasians gathered for the Holy Mass of the First Friday Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus that commenced with the Oath Taking Ceremony of the College Department Supreme Student Council Officers for A.Y. 2024-2025.
The Acquaintance Party night was then held in the City Auditorium. The highlight of which was the Mr. and Ms Acquaintance 2024.
Laro ng Lahi. The Golden Tigers fight fiercely during the Tug of War segment of the Laro ng Lahi. Ms. Ma. Nita Bolo, head of the Student Development and Placement Center (SDPC) and college instructor leads the college faculty in organizing the events of the College Department Acquaintance.
Strong Girls Rule. The girls of the Blue Panthers muster all their strength to win in the Tug of War at the St. Ezekiel Moreno Covered Court. Race ‘Till the End! The boys of the Blue Panthers work as a team to win the fun and challenging Sack Race. The Juniors Dominate. Despite an early upset, the juniors from the College of Criminal Justice Education win the basketball tournament that began after Laro ng Lahi. Mario Went to Town! Skirts on and umbrellas up, the college boys slay this classic team game. Holy Mass for the College Department. After the fun and games, Thomasians in the College Department pack to the STV-R Chapel for the Holy Mass of the First Friday Devotion to the Sacred Heart. Formation and Education. In keeping with the mission to “provide Catholic education and formation,” Thomasians are formed to participate in the First Friday Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Rev. Fr. Excel Saycon, OAR celebrates the Holy Mass for the College Department. Fr. Saycon also officiates the Oath Taking Ceremony of the new set of College Department Supreme Student Council Officers.Thomasian Criminologists.
