Thomasians Kirby Ramacho and Gibson Ken Nochefranca clinched the lawn tennis boys gold medal at the West Visayas Regional Athletic Association (WVRAA) Meet in San Jose, Antique today, March 5, 2025.

The pair earned their ticket to the Palarong Pambansa 2025 after beating the doubles team from Aklan Province, 8-3.

Ramacho, Grade 12-OLG, and Nochefranca, two San Carlos City talents, represented the Province of Negros Occidental.

Palarong Pambansa 2025, which will be in Ilocos Norte, will be Ramacho’s second. He had represented Negros Occidental with Thomasian Herman Illusorio during the Palarong Pambansa 2023.

Meanwhile, Nochefranca, a Grade 10-SJ Thomasian, has played in several local and commercial tournaments before winning the gold at WVRAA 2025.
