Entrep at CST-R Now has Government Recognition

CST-R’s Entrepreneurship Program is now government recognized.

Commission on Higher Education Regional Office VI released Government Recognition No. 1, Series of 2024 granting full recognition to the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship program of Colegio de Sto. Tomas-Recoletos.

CHED RO6 released the recognition last January 29, 2024 under Regional Director Raul C. Alvarez, Jr., REE, Ed. D., CESO III.

It can be recalled that the Regional Quality Assurance Team under Dr. Jimmy Tolosa, PhD, Supervising Education Program Specialist of CHED RO6, and Dr. Angeli Sebastian, PhD, Dean of the College of Business of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University-Molo, visited the CST-R College Department last October 12, 2023.

CST-R is now ready to open its third year level for BS in Entrepreneurship.

At present, the total number of students taking the program is 48. From only 19 students when the College of Business opened last A.Y. 2022-2023, the second batch of first students now has 29.

Thomasian Entrepreneurs. CST-R is ready for third and fourth year levels. With GR No.1, Series of 2024 already released CST-R is now full speed ahead to laying the ground work for the next level of BS in Entrepreneurship and the College of Business as a whole.
