The Basic Education Department of Colegio de Sto. Tomas-Recoletos, Inc. is gearing up for the opening of Academic Year 2026-2027 on June 15, 2026.
Based on Department of Education’s Beginning of School Year policy, schools are to implement Week Zero that shall include the opening of classes, orientations and other such preparatory activities.
CST-R has published the activities that await the Thomasians enrolled in the Basic Education Department during the CST-R Basic Education Week Zero. The activities include the tradition Thomasian Welcome Program that shall serve as the grand opening for the academic year when all the religious and lay administrators, faculty and staff will be introduced to the students, individual section orientation with the class advisers, socio-emotional activity, orientation regarding the different subject areas and the diagnostic and pre-tests.
Academic and non-academic activities this year will be guided by the motto from EDUCAR (Red educativa internacional agustina recoleta) that is, “Accompanying towards the truth.”
The Senior High School Department will now adopt the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum and will make the Academic Track available for Thomasians.
