**DOLE Certified Occupational Safety & Health Officers.** L-R Engr. Anacleto Velasco, Mr. Isaias Dela Paz and Mr. Carl Calinawagan receive their certificates from the Department of Labor and Employment as Occupational Safety & Health Officers.

Two Thomasian teachers completed training for the Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training for Safety Officer I under the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

Engr. Anacleto Velasco, CST-R Junior High School Department coordinator and Math teacher, and Mr. Carl Calinawagan, teacher-responder for the Thomasian Emergency Assistance and Management (TEAM) and Golden Eagles football coach, trained last August 12 to 13, 2021 under the Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) Regional Extension Unit VI-Western Visayas.

Both teachers went through 10 hours of training pursuant to DOLE Department Order 198-18 or the department implementing rules and regulation on Republic Act No. 11058 or the Act Strengthening Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards.

Their certification helps in improving the qualifications of teacher-responders who are volunteering under CST-R TEAM.

**TEAM CST-R Certified.** Mr. Calinawagan is among the teacher-volunteers for the CSTR Thomasian Emergency Assistance Management (TEAM).

**DOLE Certified.** Engr. Velasco, who is also the coordinator of the CST-R Junior High School Department, is now a certified Safety & Health Officer.

**TEAM Leader.** Mr. Dela Paz is the CST-R Safety and Security Office head.
