Thomasian research paper is shortlisted among the 25 qualified manuscripts for the Research Fair 2023 of the UP ALCHEMES of the College of Engineering, University of the Philippines-Diliman.

The paper titled “Sugarcane (Gramineae Saccharum Officinarum L.) Fibers with Papaya (Papain) Enzymes as Substrates for a Water-resistant Paper Bag Production.” It will be part of the exhibit on February 1 to 3, 2024, in UP Diliman, Quezon City.

This paper was among the thirty research papers presented during the Pre-Oral Defense of Grade 12 Thomasians last January 10 to 12, 2023 at the Colegio de Sto. Tomas-Recoletos Cultural Hall. Ten expert panelists reviewed and scrutinized the students’ papers while 11 research advisers assisted the Thomasians.
