Thomasian Alumna Wins Moot Court Competition in Washington, DC

A member of Colegio de Sto. Tomas-Recoletos, Inc. Batch 2018, Yovelie Delubio, together with the entire University of San Carlos Law Memorials, placed Rank 1 during the recently concluded Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington, DC, USA, last April 5, 2025.

Delubio and the USC team beat Harvard Law School by a mere .8 total team points and bested a total of 161 national winners from all over the world.

During the national rounds in partnership with Divina Law, Delubio ranked third among the best Filipino mooters.

The Jessup Cup is the oldest, most extensive and most prestigious international law moot court competition.

Only two Philippine Law Schools made it to the top 20, University of San Agustin Law School being the other one. USA Law ranked 14th.

Best Filipino Mooters. Delubio is now among the best Filipino mooters from the different Philippine Law Schools. She was among the pioneering Senior High School Thomasians.
