One Augustinian Family: CSA-B Benchmarks CST-R CCJE

July 15, 2025—Colegio de San Agustin-Bacolod, with Rev. Fr. Raymudo Edsel T. Akayaga, OSA, Vice-President for Augustinian Formation, Religious Affairs and Mission leading their team, benchmarked the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) of Colegio de Sto. Tomas-Recoletos.

CSA-B particularly visited the Criminalistics Laboratory in the St. Joseph Building of CST-R. Dr. Ana Roberta C. Guanco, Program Head of Psychology Department; Dr. Lanie C. Campillanos, Program Head of Education; Mr. Louie C. Pagdato, MBA, Associate Dean of the College of Accountancy, Business Education and Computer Studies; and Mr. Angelo J. Hechanova, Subject Area Coordinator comprised the Augustinian team of academicians who looked into the implementation of the BS in Criminology program at CST-R.

Rev. Fr. Cristopher C. Maspara, OAR, President of CST-R, welcomed the CSA-B team together with Dr. Ma. Nita V. Bolo, RGC, PhD, head of the Student Development and Placement Center (SDPC) and Ms. Maria Cindy N. Gabutas, LPT, Quality Assurance Officer.

CST-R’s BS in Criminology is now Government Recognized after the Commission on High Education granted it G.R. No. 2, Series of 2025, signed last January 9, 2025. This Academic Year 2025-2026, CST-R eyes on graduating is first batch of college Thomasians.
