Nineteen pioneering Thomasian BS in Criminology students passed the week-long intense training held at the campus of Colegio de Sto. Tomas-Recoletos, Inc. and have officially graduated from the Intern Officers’ Training Program today, August 11, 2025.

With 14 male and five female officers, these Thomasians are expected to lead the first batch of Thomasian BS in Criminology On-the-Job Trainees (OJT) who will be assigned at the tri-bureau namely, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) and the Philippine National Police ( PNP), the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA).

The Intern Officers, who began training last August 3, 2025, received the warmest congratulations and encouragement from PCol. Adonis A. Rosales, MACRIM (RET), who gave his opening remarks, calling on the Thomasians to lead and serve with value of accountability, a value that he said was lacking the most among the those in government service and the uniformed personnel.

The graduation ceremony at the Golden Eagles Football Field was the first of its kind to be held in CST-R. Rev. Fr. Cristopher C. Maspara, OAR, CST-R president led the traditional Pass-In-Review and the Opening of Collars of the officers.
