Golden Eagles Football Boys, Don Bosco Boys Home End the School Opening Game at 3-3

August 7, 2023—Golden Eagles Football Field debuted this academic year with a head to head combat between the Golden Eagles Football Boys and the Don Bosco Boys Home & Vocational Training Center Football Team U17.

While the visiting squad from Dumangas, Iloilo scored the first two goals and the home team immediately answered with two goals to cement the score at 2-2 into the second half.

The Golden Eagles inched the fight to 3-2 while relentlessly pounding Don Bosco’s agile goalkeeper. However, during the last ten minutes of the game, the visitors equalized the score and CST-R’s opening game of the year ended with a 3-3.

Coach Mario P. Bayoguing with Bro. Perry, led the Don Bosco Football Team. While Coach Elvin Marcellana, who is also a member of CST-R Batch 1996, led the Golden Eagles.

Bayoguing expressed his joy for being able to experience the Thomasian pitch and the Thomasian crowd while CST-R President Rev. Fr. Cristopher Maspara, OAR was keen on getting a well-rounded exposure for the Golden Eagles.

Early Start. On the first day of the academic year, the Golden Eagles Football Field is alive with action thanks to the visiting Don Bosco Boys Home & Training Center Football Boys U17 and the home team-Golden Eagles.
For the Game. Thomasians pound at the defense of Don Bosco while trying to inch from the 2-2 first half score.
Show Stopper. Don Bosco goalkeeper control the game by saving countless attacks from Golden Eagles strikers.
