July 1, 2024—With four special awards and a First Runner-Up finish, the Colegio de Sto. Tomas-Recoletos Drum and Lyre Corps won Php 30,000 during the 64th Charter Day Drum and Lyre Competition.

The CST-R Band, with 48 members, won Best in Costume, Best in Majorette Leader (Kirsten Magbanua), Best in Moving Choreography and Best in Musicality.

Mr. Joshua Yuan Ibañez is the CST-R Band Coordinator. The trainers are James Garnatas, Raymond Mar Pescadera and Joshua Tagnong.
