December 9, 2025—Thomasians gathered at the iconic Quadrangle to honor their fellow Thomasians who brought home multiple medals from the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain last October 22 to 31, 2025.

Charlie Ratcliff brought home the gold in the Girls’ 45kg Modern Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) after defeating Thailand’s Nakanantaphon Khaihong. It only took Charlie over a minute to submit Khaihong. Charlie is currently in Grade 12-OLP.
Travis Ratcliff also brought home the silver medal in Boys’ 60kg traditional MMA. Iranian Amirmohammad Hatamianafshari defeated Travis via a unanimous decision.
Charlie also won gold during the qualifiers at the Asian Mixed Martial Arts (AMMA) in Manama, Bahrain last August 27 to 30, 2025.
Both of the siblings also won gold in Batang Pinoy in General Santos City for MMA and Jui Jitsu events, right after their success in Bahrain.
During the program, the Ratcliffs expressed their gratitude to the Thomasian community for honoring them.
Travis, Grade 12-OLG, is also part of the winning Golden Eagles Boys’ Volleyball Team that will represent San Carlos City in the next Negros Occidental Provincial Athletic Meet.
